MUN Model United Nations Program

Activity Description

The Model United Nations (MUN) program is a simulation of the work of the United Nations. Students come together to assume the roles of ambassadors of member states to discuss real-world issues in sessions that simulate various UN committees. During the sessions, students deliver formal speeches, introduce draft resolutions, participate in debates, and negotiate to reach common solutions, just as real diplomats do.

Activity Objectives
  • Training students in critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Increase students’ awareness of international, political, and humanitarian issues.
  • Promoting the spirit of dialogue, negotiation and teamwork.
